MRL Park & Van Buren Interchange Mural Call for Art

MONTANA RAIL LINK PARK PERCENT FOR ART PROJECT

Happy 2019 Public Art friends! The City of Missoula Public Art Committee is excited to begin a new year of projects. As we have mentioned recently, currently, a large focus of the Committee is on the Montana Rail Link (MRL) Park Percent for Art Project. Artist, Matt Babcock, has been selected to create a large aluminum and rock based sculpture in the MRL Park titled, “Scratch”. The sculpture is blue and is an abstract form of a dog. Please see sneak peek photo, below! Installation will begin this Spring and will finish by Summer 2019. The Public Art Committee, Missoula Redevelopment Agency & Missoula Parks & Recreation are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with such a talented, engaging and dedicated artist. More details to come!
